Prosoco produces a wide range of sealants ideal for passive building. Greenspring frequently uses their R-Guard products and Adhesive. They added the description of the Bellwether project to their website in April 2024. CEO, David Boyer, CEO, is quite familiar with the use of autoclaved aerated concrete in Europe:

“Though AAC is a bit esoteric, it’s a brilliant way to build and produces some of the most serene, healthy living conditions you’ll ever experience. It creates a robust, vapor-permeable, insulated barrier wall assembly that does not require a separate air barrier.”

He launched the former Environmental Building News in 1992, followed by BuildingGreen and the Resilient Design Institute. He wrote about his visit to the Woodstock Passive House:

That article reached Europe, and the editor of AAC—Worldwide in Germany asked him to expand it:

Alex’s articles centered on the features of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete; Violet Snow wrote about multiple other aspects of the Woodstock House in Hudson Valley One, an upstate NY publication:

When the Woodstock Passive House was for sale, it was described in Upstate House with photos and details of its performance: “Stay-At-Home Design: A Passive House in Woodstock Offers Energy Savings":
